I have embarked on a journey with the Singapore Polytechnic FabLab Unit, assuming the roles of a Lecturer and a Digital Fabrication Specialist. Within this capacity, my responsibilities include the development of digital fabrication-oriented curricula for both students and professionals as well as the provision of consultancy services to various industries and companies.
I achieved a series of promotions, initially reaching the role of Asst. Senior Manager and subsequently advancing to Senior Lead Designer. I have the honor of leading a specialized team composed of designers, design engineers, and technicians. Our collective focus is on pioneering incubation initiatives, conducting impactful consultancy projects, and orchestrating creative and forward-thinking exhibitions.
I embarked on my professional journey at the esteemed NUS Design Incubation Centre, assuming the role of a Designer. Here, I had the privilege of contributing to a multitude of diverse projects, all under the esteemed guidance and directorship of internationally renowned designer - Patrick Chia.
I embarked on a remarkable entrepreneurial journey as a co-founder of One Third Design Studio, where our primary mission was to deliver exceptional design consultancy services. Within this venture, our team relentlessly pursued creative solutions and offered valuable design expertise to our clientele. This experience underscored our commitment to excellence and innovation in the world of design.
As a Lieutenant in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, I served with dedication in my national service role, assuming the responsibilities of an Air Defense Artillery officer. My duties encompassed critical aspects of air defense operations, where I played a pivotal role in safeguarding our nation's airspace. This experience cultivated my leadership skills and instilled a deep sense of duty and commitment to national security.
