ALine chair was developed to be the signature outdoor furniture for Singapore’s first net-zero energy building at the School of Design and Environment within the National University of Singapore. The chair aims to complement the building’s sustainability notions, utilizing sustainable materials and craft in basic fabrication processes. The chair is created using standard-diameter of aluminum tubes which simplifies material sourcing and production. Despite its low weight, ALine is a robust piece of furniture with long-lasting weather resistance and comes in different colors and finishes. It is also stackable and suitable for both public places and interior settings.

 

ALine is also a Red Dot Design Award Winner for Product Design 2021, Silver Award Winner for DFA - Design for Asia Awards 2021, and iF Design Award Winner 2022.
